Below you will find a set of frequently asked questions. If there is a question you need to ask that is not listed here please do not hesitate to stop by the Help Desk in Rockwell 165B or call (773) 697-2411.
Q: What happens if I forget my password to login to the system?
A: Select the "Forgot your Password" link and follow the on-screen prompts to reset your password. If you continue to have an issue please have contact the Chicago Help Desk at 773-697-2411.Q: I have never logged into the portal before, how do I get there and how do I log in?
A: The student portal can be accessed by entering my.devry.edu or my.keller.edu into your address bar. Your username is your full DSI number, including the D. Example: D12345678. For the first time logging on follow these steps:
- Click the First Time Logging In "Click Here" link.
- Enter your birth month and year.
- The Student Portal login page now appears with your temporary password automatically entered in the Password field.
- Enter your DSI# number and click the "LOGIN" button.
Q: How do I access my course(s)?
A: You can access your online classroom by navigating to your student portal at my.devry.edu or my.keller.edu and selecting your course link from the "Courses" section on the Home page.
Q: How do I get to and login to DeVry's Citrix iLab?
A: To access the Citrix iLab enter http://lab.devry.edu into your address bar. To login, enter your DSI# and network password. The network password is the same password as your login to the Student portal.
Q: I have a couple financial questions; can the Help Desk answer those for me?
A: For any financial questions you can stop by our Student Central department, room Rockwell 124.
Q: I am looking to be tutored; does the Help Desk take care of this?
A: For tutoring assistance please visit our Academic Success Center. For more information please visit the Academic Success Center webpage.
Q: I have a laptop that needs to connect to the internet; does DeVry University offer a wireless set-up?
A: Yes, we do have a wireless network you can use. Scan for a wireless network and connect to DeVry-Wireless. Open up an internet browser and you will then have to login to the network using your DSI# and network password.
Q: My laptop is having several issues, what can I do?
A: If your laptop is a DeVry University laptop, you can bring it in and we can troubleshoot the issues on your machine. For personal laptops we can only provide limited assistance such as helping with accessing the DeVry-Wireless or the Student Portal. If you believe your personal laptop is infected with a virus or malware please refer to the link below on recommended solutions to removing viruses and malware.

Q: Can I save files onto the campus computers?
A: For security reasons, anything saved to the local Desktop, My Documents, C: drive, etc. will be removed at the end of the day. Avoid losing your work by saving all files to your USB drive.
Q: What is EcoPrintQ?
A: At DeVry University, we believe that caring for our environment is everyone's responsibility. EcoPrintQ is a new system implemented to help reduce unnecessary printing and excessive paper use on campus. If you have any questions in regards to the EcoPrintQ system, please contact the Chicago Campus Helpdesk.
