Technology and Software Supplies Charge
Campus Based Students:

Effective October 27, 2003, technology charges are $125 per term for full-time and $75 per term for part-time campus-based students. This charge is non-refundable.

There are no changes to the technology charges included in the tuition of the students enrolled in the one-year, campus-based IT program.
DVUC (Center-based) Students:

Enrolled in the Business and CIS programs will continue to pay the same amount per term as previously charged. This charge is non-refundable.

Enrolled in the one year IT program will continue to pay the same amount (included in their tuition) as previously charged.
Explanation of Charge:
DeVry University is committed to providing technologically advanced tools, services and support throughout our curriculum. The Technology and Software Supplies Charge enables DeVry to regularly update labs, software, library technology, and other important student services, including but not limited to:

Installing up-to-date software releases in our labs

Making Internet access available in labs, libraries and classrooms

Providing off campus access to our expanded electronic library facilities, such as Proquest Information and Learning, which provides seven databases, including the Wall Street Journal; Faulker Information Services for FACCTS and TCOM and CIS databases; and net Library, providing access to over 12,000 electronic books.

Incorporating Web-based instruction into many courses

Providing online course augmentation and additional learning opportunities through our relationships with Black Board, eCollege, Oracle and NETg, both on campus and online

Increasing information technology help desk and support services

Supporting expanded use of technology in classrooms by faculty

McAfee Anti-virus home use option

Microsoft (Office Suite, Visual Studio Suite, Windows, FrontPage, Project, Visio)
