Chicago Campus Printer Setup Instructions

Below are a list of scripts that will configure your computer to print to a printer in a specific room.

To use the scripts:

Click on the linke that corresponds to the printer you would like to print
If prompted select yes to open which will run from the script from the site or select save, then save it to a location on your comptuer and then run it

We recommend connecting to open lab printers as well as the printer located in fron to the buisness office on the 2nd floor in the SAC building. These printers are available at all times. Please be mindful of selecting printers that are located inside of classroom labs as it could be a distraction to an ongoing class.

ATTENTION WINDOWS 7 USERS

You may have to install additional printer drivers before these scripts will work. If you attempt to run the Windows 7 scripts and get an error try the following steps and then run the script again:

Go to Devices and Printers
Select a configured printer device
Click on Print Server Properties (in the menu at the top of the screen)
Select the Drivers tab
Click the Add... button
In the Wizard click the Next button
Click the Next button again
Click the Windows Update button and wait for the drivers list to update
Select a print driver to install, it doesn't matter what driver you select, this will install all the other print drivers
Click the Next button
Click the Finish button to complete the driver install
Attempt to run the script again, the script should work now
